Just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed seeing Maureen in Lewis and Taggart. A very accomplished actress. As a would be Scottish playwright I would love to write something for her.
Have always enjoyed Maureen's work both on stage and television, her appearance in Lewis was enjoyable but the highlight for me was Sandra Nichol. I really liked her performance in casualty.
I wish her good luck with all her work in the future.
Regards George
Was told of this site by Gemma so thought I'd check it out! Well I am rubbish at writing comments but I'll just say that you're a brilliant actress Maureen. You starred in Midsomer Murders, one of my fave shows! R.e Casualty - Julian x Sandra forever! I so wanted Sandra to join Julian when he quit halfway through series 7. I was 9 or 10 at the time and had a bit of a crush on Nigel le Vaillant...I'm nearly 31 now...*_* what was it like working with Nigel? I still fancy him...:-D I have been watching all the old Casualty episodes on youtube. They're better than today's episodes.
Good luck in all your future projects Maureen. I think you should return to Casualty either full-time or as a one-off cameo - Sandra should be at the rank of Sister by now!
Hi Maureen! Great to see that you're still very busy in the world of TV, theatre and so on. I was a huge Casualty fan as a kid way back in the 90s when you played Sandra - you inspired me to become a nurse. However unlike Sandra I have yet to meet a real-life Dr Julian Chapman...ha ha. I am still looking! All the best! x
